How much does a website
cost in Jordan in 2026?

Prices by website type, what each price should actually include, the costs that appear after launch, and how to compare quotes that look nothing like each other.

Updated October 2026Written by Liox, Amman
Short answer

In Jordan in 2026, a landing page usually costs 350 to 800 JOD, a company website 700 to 2,500 JOD, an online store 500 to 5,000 JOD, and a custom web system from about 4,500 JOD. Packages advertised under 150 JOD exist, but they are almost always a template with your logo on it.

Ask five companies in Amman for a quote and you will get five numbers that look unrelated. That is not dishonesty, it is scope. The word "website" covers a bought template, a custom build, an online store and a full web platform, and those are four different products.

There is also a specific problem for buyers here. Jordan publishes far less current pricing than Saudi Arabia does, so an Amman business owner has almost nothing to benchmark a quote against. That is why the spread between proposals is wider here, and why scope discipline matters more than price comparison.

Ranges collected from published Jordanian price guides and agency pages, October 2026. Each is one company's positioning, not an independent market survey.

Scope

What actually decides the price.

1. Page count and typesTen pages sharing one layout cost less than five pages that each need their own design. A service page, a project page and a blog article are different page types.
2. Custom design or templateMost of the gap between a 200 JOD site and a 1,200 JOD site sits right here. A template is cheaper, but changing its layout later is hard.
3. Arabic as a second languageThe factor most quotes get wrong. Not translation. Every page needs its own copy, and a right-to-left layout needs its own design and QA pass.
4. Content and photographyReady content keeps the price lower. Late content is also the single most common reason a website launches late.
5. Features and integrationsA contact form is simple. Booking, payments, a filtered catalogue, customer logins or an accounting connection each add real cost.
6. Speed and search setupSitemaps, titles and Search Console take time to do properly. Cheap packages skip them, and it shows when the site does not appear on Google.
Value

What you should get at each price.

Landing page, 350 to 800 JODOne page with a clear offer and one main action. A design matching your brand. A form that reaches your inbox. Analytics and ad conversion tracking. Loading speed checked on phones.
Company website, 700 to 2,500 JOD5 to 15 pages. A custom design reviewed before development. A way to edit your own text and images. Forms, WhatsApp button and a map. Google setup. Ownership of the site and files after payment.
After launch

The costs that appear later.

Hosting and a domain run roughly 60 to 150 JOD a year for a normal business site. Beyond that, ask specifically whether there is a mandatory monthly retainer, who holds the domain and hosting accounts, and what a content change costs once the project is closed. These three questions cause more disputes in Jordan than the build price does.

Checklist

How to compare quotes.

  1. Which pages and features are included, in writing?
  2. Is the design custom or based on a template?
  3. How many revision rounds are included?
  4. Who writes the content and prepares the photos?
  5. Who registers the domain and hosting, and in whose name?
  6. Will I get the source code and admin access?
  7. What is the schedule, and what happens if it slips?
  8. What are the yearly costs after launch?
  9. Can I open live sites you built, on my phone, right now?

That last one separates real companies from portfolios made of screenshots.

Where we sit

Liox pricing, for comparison.

We are above the local middle, deliberately. Landing pages start at $1,200 (about 850 JOD) and multi-page websites at $4,000 (about 2,835 JOD), quoted in US dollars because we build for the Gulf as well as Jordan. You are paying for a custom build, Arabic as a first-class language rather than a flipped translation, and SEO and analytics instrumented on launch day.

If your budget is 300 JOD, a template shop is the honest answer and we will tell you so. If you need a bilingual site that produces enquiries, that is the work we do.
